What is PUBG?
Programmers Unknown Battleground (PUBG) is Jhapa's first National Level Hackathon event, inspired by battle royale games and created by Developers Association Jhapa (DAJ). It's an elimination-based competition that pushes developers to showcase their skills, creativity, and determination. The first hackathon in Jhapa.
The event brings major tech opportunities directly to Jhapa, empowering local talent and fostering innovation in Eastern Nepal.
Event Concept
A 3-day elimination-style hackathon blending problem-solving intensity with PUBG-inspired themes. 15 teams (squads) will be selected for the final 48-hour squad hackathon.
Hackathon Format
- The hackathon will span 48 hours over 3 days
- A central theme or challenge will be announced on Day 1
- Teams are expected to ideate, build, and deploy a fully functional solution
- Final submissions will be judged by industry experts and technical leaders
Team Structure
- Team Size: 3 to 4 members
- Open to all college students and aspiring developers
- Participants may register as a complete team
